Journal 1: Introduction

Hi there!

My name is Brandon. Instead of going and creating something entirely new for this, I decided to create my blog on a ghost page of my website/portfolio. I’m currently living in San Jose, California after being away for a few months in Denver, Colorado where I attended a UX bootcamp. I am currently a freelance visual designer and was recently laid off due to COVID-19, so I decided to come back to school to finish up my degree in Graphic Design (it’s only been about 6-7 years).

It’s always important to know the roots of something that you do everyday, so this class excites me to understand more of the background and foundation of graphic design. I look forward to meeting everyone and learning more week to week!
