Dear Stress, I would like a divorce. Please understand it is not you, it is me.

To come up with a solution, we had to validate that there was a problem. This was done in pieces and by this process:

1. User Interviews (conduct interviews to validate if this is a real problem, with real people)

2. Competitive Research (is there anything that tackles this on the market?)

3. Feature Prioritization (what are some key features that we would need in our solution?)

4. Conceptual/Usability Testing (so… does our solution even work?)

The average adult spends around one-third of their life at work.

After consolidating and synthesizing interview findings, I was able to find out a few things:

  1. Burnout is evident in every single person we interviewed, it’s evident everywhere we look— if we pay attention

  2. Users wanted to tackle burnout, but they don’t know where to begin

  3. Burnout and stress directly effects health and personal life

  4. For many people, the common solution to burnout is to simply work through it
