Shijin Vapor, a San Jose-based e-liquid company sells vaping liquid, devices, and other tobacco products worldwide, with a huge number of sales every year. Throughout 2019 and 2020, the FDA would begin to really hone down on the vaping industry, and the challenge while there was developing and designing branding to abide by the FDA, and to eliminate underage tobacco usage.
As the lead graphic designer, there were several areas to attack: branding, packaging, videos, booths— all aspects of design needed to abide by FDA and to be more cohesive.
Shijin Vapor is home to over 50+ e-liquid brands and flavors. Each label, box, and packaging was rebranded for cohesiveness, and to all fall under the “Shijin Vapor” umbrella.
Daily posts, a website redesign, and social media content was a necessity for a brand within this industry. Influencer marketing, photography, and videography were some of the main prioritizations for our marketing team.
The fun stuff. “Winners” was a line developed to showcase that by switching to nicotine-deliverable products, you’ve taken the first step to beat cigarette addiction.
Shijin Vapor became an award-winning brand, winning two huge tradeshow expos in Las Vegas as “Best in Show” and “Best Brand” awards through the booths that were designed by our team. With an increase of web sales by up to 40%, we hit several milestones and constantly developed workflows to maximize efficiency. Our rebrand efforts were FDA-compliant, and Shijin Vapor products began to sit in more and more stores worldwide.
